Key Info

Check Out

Check out is by 11am.

Breakfast, Food & Drink

Breakfast is provided. You will find soft fruit, yogurt and butter in the fridge; bread, granola and honey are on the counter.

The Café at Great Park Farm is also open at 8:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday – Saturday and Sunday 10am – 4pm.

Heating

There are three electric radiators through the cabin; one in the entrance, one in the studio beneath the bench and one in the bedroom under the wardrobe. These are controlled via individual thermostats built into each radiator. Simply use the arrows to select the desired temperature. The underfloor heating in the bathroom is controlled by the thermostat in the bedroom; this should not need adjusting during your stay.

Kitchen

The kitchen is small but adequate. We have a fridge, electric hob, toaster, coffee machine, BBQ fire pit, cutlery, crockery, and cooking equipment. The cabin will also be stocked with fresh milk, olive oil, salt, sugar, various teas, coffee, washing up liquid, and kitchen roll.

Using the Firepit/BBQ

Use a quick light log to start the fire - it’s much easier than going full ‘Bear Grylls’ on it. These are located in an outside box behind the cabin.

Neighbours

The fence line on the opposite side of the cabin to the pond is the boundary with our neighbours farm, so please refrain from walking over to that side and around the pond. You are welcome to explore the rest of the woods and the lower pond which is straight down and around to the left (see map in guide for details).

Please be conscious of our other guests’ privacy using the cabins and sauna. Do not venture too close to the other cabins. Do not play music anywhere on the site away from your cabin.

Bathroom, Outside Tub & Shower

Please be conscious that the cabin runs off a hot water tank which is large but not limitless! the outside tub, external shower and bathroom shower can use a lot of water so please pace your usage during your stay. The tank is constantly refilling itself and heating more water.

We provide shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, hangers, hairdryer, and towels.

WIFI / Internet

There is WIFI across the site - given the rural location we rely on a satellite connection.

Muddy Shoes & Boots

We ask that you do not wear outside shoes inside the cabin. Please remove your shoes at the front door.

Mini bar

Inside the cabin you will find a selection of local wines & beers. These are priced individually. Please help yourself and let us know what you have drunk when you leave and we will invoice you after your stay.
