Architects Holiday

Open House

An afternoon of architecture, nature and hospitality.

Sunday 23 August 2026 · 1–6pm

Great Park Farm · Catsfield, East Sussex

Introduction

For one summer afternoon, we are opening the woods at Great Park Farm. Come and explore Bathers Cabin and Yogis Cabin, experience a hosted session in the Drying Shed Sauna, and see the physical models for the cabins we are building next. There will be food, a paid bar, music through the trees and time to meet the people behind Architects Holiday.

Arrive when you like, stay for the afternoon, and discover the place at your own pace.

The Experience

Explore the cabins - Bathers Cabin is shaped around the ritual of water; Yogis Cabin follows the movement of light from east to west. Both were designed and built largely by hand at Great Park Farm, bringing contemporary architecture into close conversation with the East Sussex woodland.

Restore in the woods - Complimentary sessions in the Drying Shed Sauna throughout the afternoon, with a cold plunge nearby. Places are limited and can be reserved when you arrive. Please bring swimwear and a towel.

See what comes next - Bather’s Cabin will become a small exhibition for the day. What We’re Building Next, brings together physical architectural models, drawings and early stories from the next cabins planned for the site.

Food, drink and conversation - Food will be available to buy, alongside a staffed bar serving Tilsmore and Tillingham wines, Brewing Brothers beer and a selection of soft drinks. A curated soundtrack will play across the cabins.

The cabins, exhibition, bar and food are open throughout the afternoon.

Hosted sauna sessions take place at 1.30, 2.30, 3.30 and 4.30pm. Short informal talks begin at Yogis Cabin at 2pm and 4pm.

A yoga or sound-bath session may be added; registered guests will hear first.
