About The Architect
Built Works is a RIBA chartered architecture and design practice founded in 2020 with a vision to combine cutting edge technology with environmentalism.

Design Concept
The design of Yogi’s Cabin references the vernacular of gable end barns which date back to medieval cruck framed barns. Typically these barns have an overhanging roof and vary from thatch to corrugated metal in more modern times. In this interpretation, a Japanese inspired corrugated panel roof floats above burnt timber cladding to the external walls.

-
Materials
Yogi’s cabin will be constructed from timber and hemp. Burnt timber cladding (Shou Sugi Ban) references the many agricultural buildings on the farm, providing durable protection to the timber.
